Bornholm is a fantastic destination, especially if you have a passionate MTB heart. With versatile trails in Nordskoven, special tracks in Vang granite quarry, and finally, challenging and well-developed routes in Almindingen, there is more than enough for a great mini-vacation.
With the base at Nordskoven, you are closely located to the trails, close to competent bike mechanics in Rønne, and as close to the ferry as possible – in fact, you don’t even need to bring your car.
If you’re going as a group, contact us – we can provide food, a cozy camp, cool bikes for the trip, and of course, a guide.
Climbing – from rock and treetop to the hammock under the stars
If you’re heading out to climb, the entire west coast of Bornholm is ideal. In Nordskoven, we have treetop climbing for warm-up, and Vang granite quarry offers distances ranging from 6 to 25 meters with various difficulty levels. Finally, the beautiful surroundings at Opalsøen offer extra special climbing experiences.

Many dream of a trip along the Bornholm coast in a kayak – and yes, it is truly special and beautiful. It can also be challenging depending on weather and wind conditions. That’s why Bornholm, as the small island, is ideal for a kayak trip, as there is often a place with shelter.
Many kayak groups already use Nordskoven as a base for their trip. We are happy to help you get started, and we have space for your equipment. And with us, it’s only 50 meters to the waterfront.
