Season 2024

We took over Nordskoven Strand Camping in 2021 and made a number of improvements and much needed changes. We are making major strives in this department and are so much looking forward to welcoming you during the new 4 th. season from April the 26th till September 29st .

Nature, beauty and the cozy atmosphere at Nordskoven is at the center of our attention. Please help us take good care of the forest and the magnificent sandy beach right next to us. Nordskoven has a unique location with easy access to Bornholm’s many natural wonders and attractions, regardless if you travel by foot, bicycle or car.

Ankomst

I melder jeres ankomst i vores kombinerede Cafe og reception. Her hjælper vi dig med check-in og med at finde den bedste plads for jer. Vi hjælper også gerne med inspiration dit ophold på Bornholm.

Kommer du uden for vores åbningstid så giv os et kald på 4020 3068. Har du ingen reservation, kan du booke direkte på vores hjemmeside, via din mobil. Der vil være information ved receptionen.
Ved check-in får I en kode som skal bruge ved adgangsbommen, samt til adgang i servicebygningen og til brug for varmt vand i brusebadene. Husk at afregne forbrug inden afrejse.

For hytter og glamping-telte kan check-in ske fra kl. 16:00. Du er altid velkommen i vores café. Er du i eget telt, campingvogn eller autocamper, kan du checke ind fra kl. 08.00. Der er middagslukket kl. 12-14:00. Ankommer I sent – efter kl. 20:30 – så tag kontakt med os og vi finder en løsning.

Arrival
Upon arrival please meet us in our combined Café and reception. Here we assist you with chek-in and finding the best spot for you. We are always ready with suggestions and inspiration for your stay on Bornholm.

If you arrive outside our opening hours give us a call at +45 40203068. If you arrive without a reservation, you can make an on-line booking on the spot – even if we are not there to greet you.
At the check-in you receive a personal code which is used for the entrance gate and for access to the service building and for hot water in the showers. The same code for everything. Remember to pay water usage upon departure.

For cabins and glamping tents you can check-in from 16:00 (4 pm). If you arrive early, there is a good chance that you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a cold beer while you wait.

If you are bringing your own tent or camper you can check in from 08.00 (8 am). In peak season you might experience a bit of waiting time. Just saying… 😊

The café and reception is closed between 12-14:30 (noon-2.30 pm).

Checking out
Check-ud and departure time is 10:00 (10 am) for cabins and glamping tents.

Chect-out for tents and campers is 11.00 (11 am). If you by any chance want to hang out with us a bit longer, come talk to us in the reception.

Please note that your personal code for gates and the service building automatically is reset the day of your departure (we don’t want you to get stuck behind the gates).

Dogs
Dogs are welcome at Nordskoven. Just make sure you always pick up after them and that they are kept on a leash, also next to your camper/tent/cabin. The forest and the beach are right there offering excellent dog walking opportunities.

We charge a small fee for your four-legged friend.

Recycling – and upcycling
We all need to recycle, also when camping. Living in the middle of nature as we do at Nordskoven, we are living in the exact reason to put in the extra effort. We have chosen to step up and contribute to find solutions for recycling in 6 fractions for us and our guests: glass, metal, soft and hard plastic, cardboard/paper and The Rest. It’s a challenge to be ahead of the crowd (and the City’s recycling system) and we will definately need your help! Help us with improvement ideas for our Recycling Oasis.

Take the kids to the Oasis and have a good talk about why recycling is super important.

Grey water and chemical toilet
The chemical toilet from your camper can be emptied on the backside of the main building at the far North East corner. Look for the signs. Grey water from kitchen, sink and shower must be emptied at the designated area just South of cabin 24. Discharge to the sewer – not directly on the ground.
Smoking
Kids are playing all over the camp site. Young lungs are at play – as we say. The rest of us prefer to breathe clean air, and consequently smoking is only ok right next to your own living space outside. No smoking ever inside any tent, cabin, camper, shelter or building.
Servicebuilding
The service building is open 24/7. Our family shower rooms in the Eastwing is open throughout the season, whereas the shower rooms designated women and men respectively in the West wing can be closed outside the peak season.
Laundry room
A load of wash is DKK 40,-. The dryer is DKK 30 per load. You use your personal access code you received upon arrival – and you pay your total at check-out.
Cars
We allow one car per unit at the camp site. Residents in the general tent area as well as the glamping camps have to park outside the camp site on the street. We cherish the peace and quiet and there is no driving between 23.00 – 7.00 (11 pm – 7 am). If you have an early morning ferry to catch we will of course make exceptions.
The gates
The gates are open between 07.00 – 23.00 (7 am – 11 pm). Please show consideration if you are leaving early or arriving late. If you arrive after 23.00 (11 pm) you have to park outside the camp site on the street.
Guests

Guests are very welcome during the daytime. If your guests arrive by car, they have to park outside the camp site on the street.

Noise
We like to keep a cozy atmosphere at Nordskoven with room for everybody. So please be mindful of your neighbors. At 22.00 (10 pm) we start winding down and between 23.00 and 7.00 (11 pm – 7 am) we keep it nice and quiet 🙂
Fire safety (IMPORTANT)
REMEMBER, the distance between units (campers, tents) must at all times be 3 meters. If you are in doubt, come and ask us. We are obligated to ask you to move campers or tents that are not to fire safety code.

Be mindful that if you have to big a distance between you and your neighbor, you might limit other guests possibility to find a spot. So 3 meters, no more, no less. 🙂
